I want to look at the cars that are for sale
Simply click on this link, and then choose which type of car and price range you want to browse.
You can choose to include all the picture in the listing - only recommended if you have a fast link.
You will then see a page that displays all of the adverts that match your required car.
Or you can simply browse through the adverts with the most recently added ones at the top, by not selecting anything at all on the page.

I want to advertise my vehicle on BugSales, what options are available?
For the published price you get unlimted words (we reserve the right to truncate them if the detail is too long !) to describe your vehicle.
You can include a picture too if you want.
For £12.50 you get an extra web page devoted to your car for sale and you can have up to twelve images displayed on that page, along with more text if you want to add it.

How do I place my advert online?
If this is the first advert you've placed you will have to register your name and password. This allows you to come back and amend your ad if you wish to lower the price or change the details of your phone number etc.
Then click on the link that says "place an ad" You will now be able to place your ad.........
Select the type of vehicle, eg Beetle or Camper.
The next box needs to be filled with the model or category of car, eg 1300s or Westfalia.
Then enter the year of manufacture, the engine size (in CCs) and the price you want, ie 3500 for £3,500)
Select the location from the dropdown list - the car may not be at the same location as your address, and we do NOT show your address any way.
You MUST state whether you are a private or trade seller.
The next step is to write a description that includes any information that you think people will find interesting about your car.
If you have a web site or pages with more information, enter that in the box - include the http:// before your web address.
You can preview you ad at anytime by clicking on the preview button - your image will be added later !
If you want to change any details (like mis-typed words) you have the chance to do it at this time. If you are happy with the way the ad looks click submit.
You will be transported to the WorldPay page and asked for payment via their secure server. once that's complete you will be taken back to the BugSales page and given the chance to add an image.
If you choose not to add an image at this time, you will have to email it to us - quote the ad number, and we will put it in for you.

When will my advert appear on the site?
Adverts created online go up as soon as your payment details have been processed on the secure server, ie Straight away !!!

Why do I need to register to place an advert?
So that you can use your user ID and password to amend the advert or remove it when you have sold the car

How do I attach a photo to my advert?
When you are building your online ad you are given the opportunity to copy a jpeg from your computer onto the server.
Simply click the "Browse for picture" button on the ad set-up page.
IF YOU DO NOT USE A JPEG or PNG YOUR ADVERT WILL APPEAR WITHOUT A PICTURE.

How can I amend the details on my advert once it's live, e.g. lower the price?
When you registered to submit your ad you were asked for a password and given a user ID if you go to the site and click "place an ad" and then click on the advert flower, you will be given the choice to either edit or delete your advert in a little menu.
If you don't see the menu, you probably don't have java enabled in your browser. Email the mods to us and we will do them.

How can I keep my advert on the site for longer?
Your advert will remain on the site for as long as it takes us to remember to delete it (minimum six months) or until it is sold.
We won't remove the advert before then, it is up to you to do so once it's been sold if you want.
