| 1979 Van £4000.00 I have replaced the front panel, both front arches (inner and outer), both sills (inner and outer), sliding door bottom, rear arch sections, both rear quarters and a new rear valance which is now removable for easy engine work/removal, new T2D adjustable lowered front beam, new Cogbox 2 litre van gearbox, 2 litre type 4 engine isnt new but does run well, new brakes all round (discs, pads, drums and shoes) 3 years ago and are still in very good condition, newly refurbished Porsche cookie cutter alloys with locking wheel nuts, Euro stye crosshair golf head lights with Xenon+ bulbs for better lighting and a Clifford matrix remote alarm. Inside are Porsche 944 front seats, Autogauge rev counter with shift light, Scat T2 gear stick,Mk1 golf gti steering wheel, Devon camper interior with a 3/4 width rock n roll bed, sink, fridge (more of a cooler in a cupboard), and a Just Kampers cook unit with a 2 ring hob and grill gas cooker. Also a 2 bow EMPI style roof rack bought at Vanfest last year. The paint job is a real head turner, this van gets noticed wherever it goes! Registered with the Mexican & Brazilian Beetle Registry Fully serviced at 6000Km, 7955km & 8251km There are not many opportunities to own an excellent condition 'brand new’ classic car – but this is one! Mexican production of the Classic Beetle ceased in 2003. Imported into the UK by Apple 2000, this car was purchased and registered to me in September 2006. I have been the only owner in that time. It was original used on a daily basis, but since moving back to London I have found myself using it once a week (if I am lucky) - hence the sale. Runs like a dream - as an 18 month old car should.
